Who are we?

We represent hundreds of millions of people of diverse faiths, and we are calling for change.

We’re an international, multi-faith coalition of people united in our gratitudefor our precious planet. We are members and leaders in local spiritual communities, subnational and national religious bodies, and global religious institutions and communities.

What are we calling for?

Our religions share clear moral commitments: justice for the poor, reverence for the planet, and accountability for the wealthy and powerful.

We rely on these values for mutual flourishing and a world at peace. Without these values, civilization crumbles.

Science is clear: we must rapidly phase out fossil fuels and upscale renewable energy to avoid staggering levels of suffering and loss. We call on governments to:

End all new fossil fuel development immediately

Phase out existing fossil fuel production equitably, with wealthy countries leading

Implement a just transition to renewable energy for all, prioritizing affected workers and communities
